Last year, I was given the opportunity to visit New Orleans. It was a two-day fishing trip to explore the city, and it was on my bucket list to go there. (If you have seen Girls Journey, that's why I wanted to go.) I was excited, but I had to ask myself, what do I wear on a fishing trip to New Orleans at the end of May? Don't worry, I got it. Here are a few fashion items I added to my two day trip.

  1. Airport clothes: If you want to meet the love of your life at the airport, make sure you dress the part. I love being comfortable, so I'm wearing a navy blue pullover with these Nomatic The Outset pants and Saucony Guide 16s.
  2. Before exiting: I like to stop by the bathroom before a ride and use care.ē.on En Route Essentials 5pc Kit, Degree Men Antiperspirant Deodorant Dry Spray and Ax Black Vanilla Fine Fragrance Collection Body Spray to help condition my skin and make sure I smell good.
  3. More places to stay in New Orleans: I changed out of my comfy clothes into this Good American Fit For Success Bootcut Jumpsuit and Nike Air Force 1s.
  4. Stay: I changed my outfit after checking into my hotel room at Hotel Monteleone, I chose an oversized shirt and Freely Women's Haven High Waist 7/8 Pocket Leggings.
  5. Supper at the Annunciation: I wore a Vin Santo UNTUCKit linen shirt, pants and Cole Haan penny loafers.
  6. Day 1 is over: After a day of exploring New Orleans, I changed into the Cozy Earth Short Sleeve & Pant Bamboo Pajama Set.
  7. Day 2: In the morning, I decided to wear the Eddie Bauer Men's King Salmon Long-Sleeve Shirt and Horizon Guide 10″ Chino Shorts.
  8. Exploring fishing charters: We spent the morning checking out Louisiana Fishing Charters. Since I knew I was going to be walking around the charters, I decided to wear my Blundstone Chelsea boots.
  9. I changed my shoes to get on the boat: Before boarding the boat, I decided to change my boots into my Sauconys.
  10. Lunch after fishing: We all decided to go back to the hotel and change into our fishing clothes. I wore an UNTUCKit Linen Vin Santo Shirt, Maurices Edgely Mid-Rise Relaxed Boyfriend Wide-Leg Jeans and Sperry boat shoes.
  11. After lunch: We had a few hours of free time, so I decided to go to the gym. I wore a simple tee and Freely Women's Haven High Waist 7/8 Pocket Leggings.
  12. Last dinner before departure: To celebrate a successful fishing trip, we went to dinner at the Red Fish Grill. I was wearing Current Air Pintucked Trousers and penny loafers.
