Sure, Let’s Make Another Alien Vs. Predator

At the weekend Alien: Romulus is being reviewed well and seems to have done its job in reviving the horror franchise. Fortunately, the same thing happened in A hunter series and very good A deer back in 2022. Both brands now have a solid movie under their belt from the Disney/Fox merger, leading some to believe that maybe we should give it a go. Alien vs. Predator someone else go?
Fede Alvarez seems to think so. Addressing a deadline during a meeting Romulus red carpet, the director believes it would be good to do, especially as a team effort A deer director Dan Trachtenberg. “We have to do as Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez did with them From Dusk Till Dawn,” he suggested. “We will do that. I direct one part, he directs the other part. So, here is the stage.” As Fangoria notes, he strength it most accurately refers to Tarantino and Rodriguez’s 2007 double feature grindhouse, earlier structures Proof of Death and the latter Planet Terror. Either way, it’s a gag pitch on Alvarez’s part, but maybe there’s a seed of an idea there, and it’ll blossom in a few years.

The first one Alien vs. Predator is 20 years old earlier this week, and has a special place in the hearts of Alien again A hunter followers. Is it stupid? Without a doubt, but it’s a fun kind of dumb, and Sanaa Lathan does a bad thing. (The sequel, on the other hand, is just there.) It would be interesting to see what the new conflict looks like after the resurgence of both franchises, but maybe after each of them gets another movie or two, just to have a solid foundation. . At least, we’re getting more Predator movies, to begin with The Badlands are coming in the near future. As for the rest Alien, there is a 2025 FX show Alien: The World, but there are no films beyond that Romulus right now. And if we can’t get a crossover, maybe someone from 20th Century can pull the strings and release that anime they apparently made and put it on the shelf?
