Michael Myers may be dead and Ash Williams may be cast away from the future, but they’re not done cutting the screen here and now. Boss Level Games has announced the upcoming release of two new retro-style games under its RetroRealms banner based on the classic slasher flick. Halloween and the horror comedy series for Starz Ashes vs. Evil Dead.

The games will be sold separately, or together as part of a special “Double Feature” bundle. There’s also a special “Collector’s Edition” that includes a physical copy of the console game of your choice, two playable characters — including Laurie Strode of Halloween and Kelly Maxwell Ashes vs. Evil Dead – and a host of others Halloween items such as a 12-inch Michael Myers doll, a digital copy of Halloween game soundtrack, pack of Halloween trading cards and more. The games are pluggable where both are included with cross-access where characters can be brought into any game and “an ever-expanding pool of popular characters that unlocks more gameplay,” according to Boss Team Games.
Boss Team Games is one of the studios behind the asymmetric survival horror multiplayer slasher Evil Dead: The Game. The studio’s press release also notes that the two games will be “the first two releases in a new series of console and PC games” which means more arcade game projects are in the works.
