Kehlani’s Ex Files for Daughter’s Full Custody, Suspects Cult Activity

Come down‘s ex Javahn Young-White they want full custody of their five-year-old daughter, Adeya Nomi.

According to documents obtained by People On Monday, August 5, Young-White, 27, filed a petition for full custody of Adeya – and child support – in a Los Angeles court on July 24, alleging that her ex-wife was involved in a cult.

“Adeya was born in a home birth organized by what I would describe as a cult he is a part of,” Young-White said in the filing, according to the outlet, adding that “Adeya was born at home and not in a normal place. We sit like a hospital.” His name does not appear on his birth certificate.

In the documents, Young-White alleges that the “cult” Kehlani is involved in has control over the singer’s life and “when it comes to raising” their daughter.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weeklyboth Kehlani and Young-White must participate in court-ordered mediation to discuss their child custody agreement.

Young-White said the cult leader, whose name was not disclosed in the documents, had “numerous charges of sexual assault” against women and girls and convinced Kehlani that he was a danger to their daughter, causing them to go out of touch for months.

Young-White also filed a motion to “decide [his] parental relationship” with Adeya, adding that he has requested since his birth that his name be included in his birth certificate. Additionally, she suspects that Kehlani won’t give her access to Adeya’s social security number, which makes her question whether she has one.

Us has reached out to Kehlani and Young-White’s representatives for comment.

Court documents, in Billboard, also say that when Young-White tried to take her daughter in the past, she was “physically restrained and threatened” by what she identified as cult members.

“On time [Kehlani] he is on a trip, and our daughter is being cared for by other cult members, Adeya sleeps with her in bed and is bathed by older cult members and is often in the bedroom alone with some of these people,” court documents say.

Young-White concludes her petition with additional requests for Kehlani to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, and is asking for full custody of Adeya due to the “honey” singer’s “busy schedule” and “affiliation with a cult [they are] you are involved.”

Young-White and Kehlani, who use their first names, from 2018 to 2019. Kehlani gave birth to Adeya in March 2019. period. “Giving birth at home without medication was indescribable. taking time for family and healing. thank you to everyone who sent us love and support on his earthly journey!”

Kehlani also noted in the post that they were “honored” to be joined by Young-White, whom she described as “an amazing partner [I] I rely on my body and my life.” Kehlani added that Young-White was “the only person in the world.” [they] hope.”
