Finneas Defends Sister Billie Eilish’s ‘Guessing’ Verse

A post from user @windows199x accused Eilish, 22, of being “brutal” in her romantic verse on the remix Charlie XCX the song “Guess.” I Brat the track finds Charli, 32, playfully asking if listeners “want to guess the color” of her underwear. Eilish ran with the idea in her verse, saying “Charli likes boys, but you know I’m gonna hit it” and adding “Call me if you’re going with it.”
“Billie’s verse on ‘Guess’ is heavy duty, but she’s blinded by her usual hacking to get sales,” a TikTok user said of the song. “He has been turning girls into objects, all this trying to convince the masses that he loves them lol. Charli is 32 and engaged FYI.”
Finneas, who often works with the pop star’s sister, came out on the video in the comments, calling the user an “actor.”
“I watched the whole internet condemning my sister for cheating on me for a whole year and actually forcing her to write it herself,” she wrote.
Eilish admitted that she was attracted to women in an interview with her Variety in 2023.
“I love them so much,” said Eilish. “I love them as people. I am attracted to them as people. I was really attracted to them … they attracted me physically. But I am also very afraid of them and their beauty and presence.”
He made it clear that he is dealing with men and women following a red interview with each other Variety reporter later that year. As for why she never spoke about it before, Eilish said she didn’t see the need.
“I thought, was it not visible? I didn’t know that people didn’t know. I don’t really believe in it,” he said. “I’m like, why don’t we just be there? I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I haven’t talked about it.”
The music video for “Guess” features Eilish and Charli riding a bulldozer and dancing on top of a mountain of underwear. The two shared at the end of the clip that the underwear featured in the video was all donated to I Support The Girls, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to survivors of domestic abuse.
