Its sequel is still further than we would like, but in 2022 Batman you left a lasting impression. It was a real treat to see it in theaters, and if you were wondering how great it would be to see it again on the big screen, Warner Bros. he is happy to meet those demands.

Come August 28, you can see Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight again on AMC Theatres’ Dolby screens nationwide. At the moment, specific locations and prices have not been revealed yet, and it appears that this will be a one-night-only event. (Unless the demand is so strong that WB decides to extend it for a few more days.) Usually, these re-releases are made to celebrate a certain milestone, but with Batman’s case, all about Colin Farrell’s Penguin. With his spinoff series set to premiere on September 19, there will be a sneak preview of the HBO original attached to air after the film ends. So not only do you get to watch a great movie with Farrell performing, you get to see more of what the show has to offer as Farrell takes center stage.

Even if you don’t go and see Batman in theaters again, may be worth a rewatch if you haven’t seen it in a while. In chronological order, The Penguin takes place a full week after that film and shows Oswald climbing the criminal ladder after Gotham is flooded and several corrupt politicians and crime lords are killed by the Riddler. The events of the show will also be directly connected to whatever happens in 2026 Batman Part II (and was originally part of that film’s plot), so you can bet other threads of the show get more attention in the sequel.
