As I’m sure you’re well aware, Taylor and Kim had a falling out in 2016 when Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye West (now known as Ye), released this song with the lyrics: “I feel like Taylor and I might have sex / Why? I made that person famous.”

Taylor said she hadn’t approved Ye’s song, which led to Kim embarrassingly releasing footage of a phone call between Taylor and Ye in which the pop star said, “Yeah. I mean, go with whatever line you think is best. Obviously, either way is full of language. And thank you so much for telling me about it, that’s really cool!”

Phone – and Kim memorable tweet about “National Snake Day” – sparked widespread criticism of Taylor, who was publicly vilified for years. But fast forward to 2020, and the full phone was there shared onlinepointing out that Taylor had not really approved Ye’s song “that’s the one and the one”.

Since then, Taylor has frequently mentioned Kim and Ye in her music and interviews. Just last year, he he told Time magazine“Make no mistake — my job was taken from me. He has a completely done-up, illegally-recorded phone call that Kim Kardashian edited and then framed everyone as a liar.”
