Usher Says He Needs THIS To Put On His Best Performance In Atlanta
As mentioned, Usher released a written statement regarding the postponed Atlanta show. He began by acknowledging the “blood, sweat, and tears” he has put into his long career to deliver “the best performance” and create an unforgettable fan experience.
The singer added that he has “every intention” of doing the same on his ‘Past, Present and Future Tour.’ But to meet that level, Usher says he needs to “rest,” which is why the Atlanta show was canceled.
“…I have to cancel tonight’s show and reschedule it to give my body a second to rest and recover,” she wrote. “You’ll still get the past, some present, and a different look at the future with a rescheduled date, but you’ll also get 100% of me.”
Usher admitted that the “last thing” he wants is to “disappoint” his fans, especially tonight’s Atlanta crowd.
“However, I wouldn’t be the entertainer that I am if I couldn’t give you my best,” he added.
The singer shared that his band will soon share a rescheduled date, but did not give a timeline for when to expect an announcement.
