The long weekend is here, and so are our recommendations for this week’s top OTT releases. On the home front, we have one big release in the form of JioCinema’s Shekhar Home. This time, we will see the detective duo take on some of the most interesting cases in 1990s Bengal. Another, in line with this week’s patriotism, is Amazon miniTV’s Naam Namak Nishan, where we are taken to a military training center in Chennai where young cadets learn the various aspects of being a soldier. The remaining episodes of SonyLiv’s Chamak are also out, where we explore Punjab’s dark underground music scene. Amitabh Bachchan will also take on the role of a quizzer, who will check the general knowledge of the candidates for the cash prizes.
Around the world, the first part of Netflix’s Emily in Paris Season 4 is a huge release, where we see a stylish advertising professional caught in a web of love problems and professional obstacles. Next in line is the third season of HBO’s high-octane financial drama, Industry, where we meet and embrace the twisted secrets of the industry.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most popular questions in India. First established in 2000, the show has been testing candidates for their general knowledge to win lucrative cash prizes for over two decades now. This season, Amitabh Bachchan – who has bagged all but the third – will be playing his role as a questioner.
Although the format remains the same, this season has given a new feature called Dugnaastra. This will allow contestants to double their winnings by correctly answering “super sawaal” – but with a catch: no multiple choice options will be offered. The show will air Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV and simulcast on SonyLiv.
