Michael Bolton is safe and well after police cars were spotted at the singer’s home on Tuesday, August 14.

Bolton, 71, was the subject of a shocking social media post on Tuesday evening. “Something with a lot of police cars going on at Michael Bolton’s house here in Westport CT,” user X wrote at the time. “I hope you are fine.”

In just a few hours, the “Said I Loved You… But I Lied” hitmaker responded to his own. “All good!! I’m working on a small landscape project 😄 thanks for checking out!” Bolton wrote in the comments section of the post.

The welcome news comes after Bolton’s recent recovery following a brain tumor diagnosis.

On January 5, Bolton revealed that he had the surgery at the end of 2023. “I want to start off by wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year! I also want to tell you that 2023 ended up bringing me unexpected challenges,” the singer wrote on Facebook at the time. “Before the holidays, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery. Thanks to my amazing medical team, the surgery was a success.”

Bolton, father of daughters Isa, Holly and Taryn, with ex-wife Maureen McGuirehe stayed at home for a long time to ensure a full recovery. But while the surgery was a success, Bolton admitted his journey to recovery was far from over.

“For the next few months, I will be devoting my time and energy to recovery which means I will have to take a short break from touring,” he said in the January post. “It’s always a very difficult thing for me to disappoint my fans or postpone the show, but I have no doubt that I’m working hard to speed up my recovery and return to performing soon.”

Before January’s health revelation, Bolton had organized shows across the United States and Europe. His biggest musical hits include “How Can We Be Lovers,” “How Should I Live Without You,” and “Can I Touch You … There?”

The Grammy-winning singer was scheduled to tour her latest album, A Spark of Lightreleased in July 2023, marking Bolton’s new music in more than a decade. Bolton began writing songs during the violence of COVID-19.

“I felt a responsibility to help people feel the spark in their lives. Music is more powerful that way,” he said Billboard after the album was released. “We are all connected in humanity; we need more light. That became a topic that worked every day: ‘How do we do it [the music] to make other people feel better?”
