Josh Seiter has opened up about the hate she has received since coming out as transgender.

One thing that surprised Seiter was the lack of allegations of not being warmly welcomed into the LGBTQIA+ community.
“Ironically, I actually found that the far left and the LGBTQ community was one of the most important things to me in all of this,” she said. “So that is a difficult issue for me because I have never been accepted, tolerant and open my hands as the left likes to preach.”

“I have struggled with my gender identity – and the feelings of guilt and shame that lead to it – for as long as I can remember. “I spent three decades struggling to keep this side of the story a secret,” Seiter wrote in a statement at the time. “I felt I had nothing else to do, as long as I grew up in a strong religious and well-fed family. Growing up, I tried my best to portray the expected image of a strong, manly son and brother.”
The former reality star explained that he no longer wanted to “hide” his reality to prevent the “mental breakdown” he was experiencing. Seiter revealed that he is also about to change and asked that his fans “accept” him now as they did before.

“Hey guys, as you can see I’m alive. My account was hacked in the last 24 hours. I was trying my hardest to get into it,” she said in an Instagram clip from August 2023. “Someone was playing a cruel joke and making fun of my mental illness and the struggles I went through with depression and suicide attempts. I apologize for the pain they caused when they made that document.”
Following the fake death, Seiter entered a mental health facility after she said she received abusive text messages.

I love you all. For people who send me death threats, you win.”
