Robin Williams’ Son Zak Pays Tribute on 10th Anniversary of Death

Robin Williams‘son Zak it was celebrated 10 years since the death of this star with touching dignity.
“Dad, it’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years,” Zak, 41, quoted his father’s portrayal on the hit sitcom. Mork & Mindy shared via Instagram on Sunday, August 11.
“Today, I think about the great love you shared with all of us—your family, your friends, and everyone you met,” Zak said. “You continue to inspire me every day to do whatever I can to help create a more connected and loving world for our family.”
“I love you forever. ❤️,” concluded Zak, paying respect to the deceased Jumanji star, who died by suicide 10 years ago on August 11, 2014. He was 63 years old.
Williams then Zak and his first wife, Valerie Velardi. Zak has two brothers, a film director Zelda,35, and Cody31, Williams shared with his second wife, Marsha Garces Williams.
On Sunday, Zelda took to X to remove Williams’ photo of what X’s account described as “his monkey” days before his death. Zelda said that her father never had a monkey.
“It’s been brought to my attention that AI-written BS like this will go viral,” he wrote, retweeting the original post. “My father didn’t have a pet monkey, NO ONE should, and if you’re tempted, support your local animal rescue. That’s his Night at the Museum costar, who is living in the same place.”

“And since fake or poorly researched posts can go viral on the day my dad dies, maybe just assume they’re all BS (they usually are),” Zelda continued. “Ignore the creepy robots trying to farm your clicks and do something better for yourself instead. I sure as hell will ♥️”
In 2019, Zak remembered his father in an interview Good Morning Britain to celebrate five years since his death.
“It was sad to see someone suffering so much. As a family member and a child, you want to do everything you can to soothe and relieve what seems like a lot of personal pain,” Zak said.
“And there were times when it felt like there was helplessness on my part, I didn’t know what to do, or how to get the best support,” he added.
