Several stars have chosen to come out to support the elite athletes competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Kelly Clarkson covered the opening ceremony for NBC and Mike Tirico again Peyton Manning on July 26, which included performances by stars such as Lady Gaga again Celine Dion.

During Dion’s powerful performance, which marked her first time on stage in the four years since she was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, Clarkson began to feel uncomfortable.

“I was inspired, I was dancing, I wasn’t ready for that ending,” said Clarkson after Dion’s show. “If you know anything about Celine right now, you feel like this is her goal … and if you know anything about what she’s going through right now — I’m so sorry, I’m trying to hold you together right now. But then he got over that. That was unbelievable. In my category, he won the gold for the singing athletes.”
