Tom Daley and More Olympic Swimmers Celebrate Brat Summer in Speedos

With its lime green color and signature dirty, carefree vibe, hot summer has taken the internet by storm – and now it’s the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“I feel like everything happens for a strange reason, but my dad saw me compete in my first Olympics in 2008 and that was an outside chance that I was able to get in,” said Tom. “He also saw me win my first world title in 2009 at the age of 15 … I hope he will be proud of what I have achieved since then.”

“We were at the Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs and at the end there was this inspirational video about what it means to be an Olympian and at the end I was crying,” he said. “My husband, Lance, turns to me and says, ‘No, I know what this means,’ and Robbie says, ‘What’s up, Pappa?'”

He went on to say, “I just missed diving and I missed the sport and after leaving it for two years he said, ‘Papa, I want to see you dive in the Olympics,’ and that was it.”
