An extended rain break could not dampen Andrey Rublev’s run to the final of the Omnium Banque National presented by Rogers, as World No. 8 ousting Italian Matteo Arnaldi 6-4, 6-2 to reach the ATP Masters 1000 final on Monday. Montreal.

Rublev advanced to his sixth ATP Masters 1000 final a day after upsetting World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the quarter-finals. Arnaldi was competing in his second tour-level semi-final and first at the Masters 1000 level. The 23-year-old Italian currently climbs to No. 17 from No. 29 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings.
