According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the dismissal was filed on Thursday, August 8. It was allegedly approved by Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett in the United States District Court of California.
“The court agreed with Tip and Tameka that Jane Doe does not appear to have any valid claims. As Tip and Tameka said three years ago, this allegation is one of the false, hurtful allegations that were thrown in the media in a cheap attempt to extort money from them,” a representative of the couple reportedly told the media.
The outlet added that the case was reportedly “dismissed without prejudice.” According to Shouse California Law Group, this means that the case has been “dismissed but may be refiled at a later date.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, a Jane Doe plaintiff has filed a lawsuit against the couple. Doe accused the couple of sexually assaulting her “in or around 2005.”
At the time of the alleged incident Doe was enlisted in the US Air Force. Furthermore, he says he met the couple at a nightclub one evening. Doe allegedly accepted Harris’ drink and later left the club with the couple and two unidentified women.

Later that night, they reportedly arrived at the hotel where the two women had been ordered to leave. He got undressed with the couple, they showered together, and then he was ordered to lie on the bed.
Doe eventually alleged that Tiny rubbed her naked body against him. Additionally, he alleged that TI stepped on his toe. In addition, he allegedly fainted and woke up the next day with “extremely painful” genitalia, itching and beating.

Additionally, as The Shade Room previously reported, TI and Tiny responded to the lawsuit in an exclusive statement shared with TMZ.
“On the heels of positivity, negativity always rears its ugly head. The complainant has been threatening to file this case for THREE years. We have been denying these allegations for three years,” they said. , we have maintained the same position while the claims in this matter have changed again and again. Our position is clear… We are innocent of these false allegations, we will not be swayed, and we look forward to our day in court.”
According to PEOPLE, TI and Tiny formally filed a motion to dismiss the case in July. The couple reportedly wants the case dismissed “in its entirety, with prejudice.” Additionally, the couple is said to have asserted that Doe “failed[ed] to suspect the facts” to prove what he said.
