Thursday evening’s event at the Omnium Banque National presented by Rogers in Montreal was canceled due to rain.

Three second-round matches will be broadcast on Friday, including the fourth match between Hubert Hurkacz and Thanasi Kokkinakis and the All-American match between Taylor Fritz and Sebastian Korda. Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech led Flavio Cobolli 3-0, 15/15 and the Italian was on duty when the match was stopped.

Hurkacz and Kokkinakis warmed up for their fourth Lexus ATP Head2Head meeting, but the rain came down just as they were about to start the match at 6pm local time. The players waited for a while on the court before entering the locker room. Thursday evening’s session was adjourned shortly after 10 p.m

This year’s tournament started one day later than usual on Tuesday because of the Olympics. The final is scheduled for Monday.
