Restaurant Apologizes to Serena Williams After Being Denied Entry

Serena Williams‘ events in Paris continue to provide drama.

After the tennis star shared that with her family—including her daughters Olympia Ohanian6, again Adira Ohanian12 months, which she shares with her husband Alexis Ohanian-he was denied entry to the Peninsula restaurant in Paris while in France for the 2024 Olympic Games, the center responded to his allegations, explaining the reason for the unfortunate incident.

“Please accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment you experienced this evening,” the hotel responded on Aug. 5. “Unfortunately, our bar was fully booked and the only empty tables you saw were at our flagship restaurant, L’Oiseau Blanc. , which was fully booked.”

They added, “We are always honored to welcome you and we will always welcome you again.”

The apology comes after Serena called out the restaurant to X, saying she and her family weren’t allowed to eat on their roof.

“Yikes @peninsulaparis I’ve been denied access to the roof to eat in an empty restaurant with beautiful views but never with my kids,” she wrote. “First ever. #Olympic2024.”
