No matter how many points you buy, they will cost a flat rate of 0.5 cents each during this promotion.
Go to Hilton’s website to redeem Honors points during this promotion. If you’re not a Hilton member, you can sign up, but you have to wait between 30 and 90 days before you can buy points.

Should you buy Hilton points during this promotion?
Typically, Hilton sells points for 1 cent each. However, this bonus lets you earn them for 0.5 cents each — less than TPG’s August 2024 average for Hilton points at 0.6 cents each. Half a cent per point is usually the lowest rate Hilton will sell its points for.
We usually advise buying points only if you have some redemption in mind. For example, if you already have 100,000 Hilton Honors points but need 250,000 for an award stay, using this promotion to purchase 150,000 points will allow you to book your vacation now.
Even if you’re not thinking of redeeming, buying points during promotions like these can be a great way to save money at Hilton’s most expensive hotels like Conrad Bora Bora Nui and Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. For example, rates at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui can easily range from $1,000 to $2,000 (or more) per night. However, if you can find rooms available for 120,000 Hilton Honors points per night, you’ll be paying well over $600 per night if you buy points at half a cent each.
If you like something unusual, remember that the World’s Smallest Luxury Hotels recently joined the Hilton Honors program, which offers hundreds of boutiques around the world.
For example, you can book SLH The Stavrand Russian River Valley in Guerneville, California, for $685 per night as a Hilton Honors member. Alternatively, you can buy 90,000 points for $450 with this promotion and book a standard room award night, saving $235 per night in the process.
Promotions for purchasing points can also be helpful for less expensive Hilton hotels. Sometimes, hotels will have inflated cash prices, but they can be affordable if you use points.
Best of all, Hilton elite members can get a fifth night free with an award stay. If you stay at least five nights, this can help you stretch the value of your points.

Other ways to earn Hilton points
If you need to earn more Hilton points for future spending, you may want to start spending more on your Hilton Honors card or add a new Hilton card to your wallet. Current Hilton Honors American Express offers include:
Hilton Amex Aspire information is independently collected by The Points Guy. The card information on this page has not been updated or provided by the card issuer.
You can also transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to Hilton Honors at a 1:2 ratio. We recommend that you only do this to top up your account as a maximum amount of your Amex Membership Rewards points are often used.

Bottom line
When you buy Hilton points, Points.com processes the transaction, so the travel rewards card will not earn bonus points at the time of purchase. You’ll want to use an everyday spending card like the Chase Freedom Unlimited® or Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card to maximize your profit on point purchases.
Remember, this is a limited-time promotion that ends on September 24. So, if you’d like to buy Hilton points with a 100% bonus, now is the time to start planning for that redemption.
