Akili McDowell Charged with Murder in Houston Shooting

David Made a Man star Akili McDowell has been charged with murder in a Houston, Texas, parking lot incident last month.

“On July 20, 2024, County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an incident in the parking lot at 13503 North Thorntree, near Wallisville and Uvalde (East Harris County),” Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy. McDowell will appear in court on Tuesday, August 6, on the robbery charge and on October 9 on the murder charge. Deadline.
