John Travolta, Daughter Ella Baye at the Olympic Gymnastic Vault Finals

John Travolta turned the 2024 Paris Olympics into a family affair, bringing daughter Ella Bleu to the women’s vault final.
Travolta, 70, watched the women’s artistic gymnastics event on Saturday, August 3, in a private box at the Bercy Arena. He sat next to Ella, 24, too David Zaslavwho is the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery.
Travolta and Ella got together in the dark on Saturday. Travolta wore a black turtleneck over a matching blazer, while Ella opted for a chic camisole, matching skirt and French beret.
They were even spotted cheering on a Team USA gymnast Simone Bileswho took gold in this event. Rebeka Andrade Brazil won the silver medal, while Biles’ teammate Jade Carey you got the copper.
Travolta shared Ella with his late wife Kelly Preston, who died in July 2020 at the age of 57 following a battle with breast cancer. I Apply star and Preston also share son Jett, who died in 2009 from a seizure aged 16, and son Benjamin, 13.
After Preston’s death, Travolta continued to honor his legacy.
“Happy Mother’s Day Kelly. We love you and miss you,” she wrote on Instagram in May, sharing a throwback photo of Preston hosting a bake sale with Ella and Benjamin.
Ella also talks to her mother about social media.
“Happy Birthday mom, I love you so much,” Ella wrote on Instagram in October 2023. “Thank you for inspiring me every day ❤️❤️❤️.”
At the time, Travolta commented, “My mom and I love you.”
According to Travolta, Benjamin directly dealt with Preston’s death. During the August 2021 appearance of Kevin Hart Hart in the HeartTravolta said that Benjamin was afraid of his father’s passing.
“Me [told him]’Well, it’s a very different thing,’ and I went through the difference about my long life and his limited life,” Travolta recalled. “I said, ‘But you know, Ben, you always love the truth and I’m going to tell you the truth about life. Nobody knows they’re going to go when or when they will stay.’”
He added, “Your brother [Jett] I left when I was 16. I am very young. Your mother passed away at the age of 57. That was too small. But who will say it? I could die tomorrow. You may. Anyone can. So let’s look at it like it’s part of life. You don’t know well. You are doing your best in trying to live as long as possible.”
