Bachelor Nation alum Sarah Herron celebrated her first milestone with her twin daughters.
“1 month in!” the former Bachelor contestant, 37, wrote on Instagram on Thursday, August 1, alongside a photo of Evy and Coco. So I’m in love with these little warriors and all their baby dinosaur sounds 🦕🥰 37 weeks fixed.
The twins are rocking matching onesies with “NICU Grad” written on the shirt. They had tubes attached to their noses as they lay in bed.
Last month, Herron announced that she and her husband Dylan Brown receive their bundles of joy.
“World, meet Everette Rae & Colette Rose (Evy & Coco) born July 1st 2024. Twin sisters, our 32 weeks surprise us with 7.5 weeks to go,” Herron wrote on Instagram in July. “We are all getting used to life in the NICU as we have a long road ahead of us – undeniably full of twists and turns – but the girls are fighting and getting stronger every day – we all are.”
After giving birth, Herron kept fans updated on the condition of her babies, as they were born prematurely at 32 weeks.
“Our days are simple, but very big and important. We eat. We breathe. We are growing. Clean and focused; not distracted by the motives of life,” he captioned July’s Instagram Reel talking about his care for his daughters in the hospital. “I can’t wait to bring the girls home, and I want to hold on to the silence of this room forever.”
He continued: “I never thought I would learn to change diapers or dress a baby inside an isolette, let alone one-handed, but here we are; to breathe, to grow. One of the many ways NICU life has changed me.”
Bachelor Nation introduced Herron during season 17 of Bachelor star Sean Lowe in 2013, and later returned for season 1 and 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, which aired in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Herron met her current husband in 2017 after hiring him as a videographer for a charity event. The couple got engaged in May 2021 and broke up at the Grand Canyon two years later.
Before welcoming Evy and Coco, Herron and Brown lost their son, Oliver, after childbirth in February 2023.
“On the 28th of January, at 24 weeks old, our beautiful son Oliver Brown was born. He died in his father’s arms shortly thereafter,” Herron wrote at the time. “There are no words for the magnitude of the loss and pain we are feeling. It’s beautiful and simultaneously painful. He had my nose and his father’s mouth and long fingers.”
