A guest who appeared on No Jumper A podcast to brag about a hacking and hacking scheme involving the social media accounts of his victims could face federal charges. Idriss Qibaa, known as “Dani” and “Unlocked” who authorities suspect runs the social media site Unlocked4Life.com, is facing two felony charges filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Nevada for allegedly violating interstate communications laws for the threats he made. messages to two victims and their family members, according to documents obtained by 404 Media.
Investigators filed a sealed complaint against Qibaa on July 25 and issued a warrant the following Monday for his first court appearance, according to court records.
The criminal complaint says the FBI received a tip about Qibaa’s alleged fraud scheme on April 1 that pointed to his presence in the area. No Jumper A podcast hosted by Adam22, aka Adam Grandmaison, back in January under the pseudonym “Dani.” Qibaa revealed a financial scheme that used more than 200 innocent social media accounts where he would block their pages and charge them to regain access.
He also boasted that he was making around $600,000 a month from his activities and hired two bodyguards to follow him.
“He makes $2 million a month with Instagram and the Telegraph,” Qibaa said on the podcast. “I come and take it and pay for it and make it public and send it and make it public.
Qibaa even said in a podcast episode that he pulled a scheme from celebrities who have been unknowingly paying him to be reinstated on social media. He later commented “I’m a very small person” followed by a menacing laugh.
Qibaa says: “I have talked to stars who told me that they have paid to pay it back 20 times and they have to keep paying to get it back,” said Qibaa, “and I think you are aware of it. what happens to you is the same way it gets you back…you get ripped off.”
The criminal complaint tells the story of eight victims who encountered Qibaa and his services. One identified as “JT” operated two Instagram accounts: a combined cannabis news account called “theblacklistxyz” and a marijuana shop under “caliplug,” both of which were set to private. JT reached out to Qibaa asking if he could get the username. Qibaa quoted the recovered price as between $4,000-$5,000. JT refused to take Qibaa on the request and Qibaa responded with threats.
“Qibba told JT that JT wasted Qibaa’s time, blocked JT’s Instagram pages and demanded $10,000 in return,” the complaint reads. “JT offered Qibaa $8,500 to restore the account, officer Qibaa agreed.”
The complaint says Qibba reached out to JT two more times. For the first time, Qibba asked if JT will upload his Instagram page under the username “unlocked4life” which has since been deleted. JT agreed but when he heard that Qibaa had been threatening and defrauding other victims, he confronted Qibaa and “Qibaa got angry.”
A few months later, Qibaa apparently expanded the scope of his threats to JT and his family members. He sent threats to subpoena the victim’s ex-wife’s attorney and child protective services for his children. Screenshots of the victims’ phones show Qibaa allegedly giving the address and phone number of the victim’s sister. He sent a message to another family member and introduced himself as “The boy who will kill your brother who sells drugs. Tell Vuliwe to say hello. We have information for your whole family.”
Another victim identified as a journalist and a comedian with the initials “EH” discovered that they were targeted by Qibaa’s illegal services. Qibaa blocked their Instagram account, whose name has been redacted, at the request of a California dentist who treated them. EH accessed the Unlocked4Life account and got a reply that read, “Yo its Idriss.” He then tells EH to release an episode of the No Jumper podcast with his interview. Qibaa not only took away the victim’s Instagram account but also threatened to take her Social Security number and “blow it up” if they didn’t pay her $20,000.
According to the complaint, there are not even orders for Qibaa to leave his victims alone. Someone named “RB” received a restraining order from the Los Angeles County Superior Court in July but “Unrestricted” responded, “Good restraining order..I just checked that he’s still going to die.” Then “BUT NOT RELEASED” on Telegram, “$50,000 reward for anyone who sleeps in BO this week.”
Perhaps the most disturbing threats were made to several victims when Qibaa said he would go to jail if he was not paid. Screenshots of the text chains show a person named “Dani” and “Daniel” telling their victims, “I’m going to shoot you myself,” “I’m going to dig this dirt up for you” and “D., L., J., T., Kids- Main Objectives” referring to the child victims.
Another series of documents shows Qibaa allegedly threatening someone saying “he will get life in prison for killing you and this,” “Idc if I have to shoot you myself. [sic]” and “I will go to jail and be happy.” He follows the text with the threat “Here’s the last guy who came to take pictures/came near my house” and posts three pictures of an unknown bearded man, his car and a picture of himself badly injured and bloody on the ground.
Adam22 concluded his podcast interview with “Dani” saying he was “excited to see the outbreak” and “I respect the chaos even though I can’t morally condone it.”
