Kevin Durant requirements Simone Biles ditching his calf exercise habit, stat.

While in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, the basketball player, 35, got to watch Biles, 27, compete in person on Thursday, August 1. Sports reporter Nick McCarvel shared on her X account that she met Durant at an event and asked her what she thought of Biles’ plan to enter the living room.

“That was good. It’s the first time I’ve seen him live,” said Durant. “I wish I had that kind of muscle in my calves. I’ll have to hit the gym for that.”

Durant’s comments about Biles’ calf muscles come after she missed several of Team USA’s games after injuring her calf during practice. The Phoenix Suns player was cleared to return to the team in time for their opener against Serbia on Sunday, July 28. (Durant ended up scoring 23 points in the team’s victory.)

Although Durant was very impressed with Biles’ calves, she also suffered a calf injury before the Olympics. However, Biles was able to overcome the pain during gymnastics qualifying and was eligible to compete in the sport’s biggest division.

On Thursday, Biles took home the gold medal after earning the top score in the women’s gymnastics all-around final. From Brazil Rebeka Andrade was awarded the silver medal, while Biles’ teammate Suni Lee he took the bronze home.

Durant continued to praise Biles by tweeting his new nickname, “Goat Biles,” which means “greatest of all time.”

“I really believe that Goat Biles can hold a berth and finish. #bounce,” he said in a follow-up tweet.

Durant isn’t the only one calling Biles “THE GOAT” — and recently the gymnast has openly embraced the moniker. While receiving her gold medal, Biles rocked a diamond goatee. The Janet Heller Fine Jewelry piece features 546 diamonds on an animal body and sits on a silver chain.

Earlier this week, Biles became the most decorated US gymnast in Olympic history after Team USA took home the gold medal in the team final on Tuesday, July 30. Biles surpassed the Olympian Shannon Miller, who won seven Olympic medals throughout his career. Miller, on the other hand, couldn’t help but be happy for Biles and her historic success.

“I am very happy. “My heart is full because I know, as an athlete, what it takes to win a gold medal, and these ladies have been through everything to get here,” Miller, 47, told NBC News after Team USA’s victory.
