Brittany Mahomes take the children to see father Patrick Mahomes in training camp.
“We were going to see dad today,” Brittany, 28, wrote on her Instagram story on Saturday, July 27, alongside cute photos of her and Patrick's two children — daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 19 months.
Brittany took her fans on a family day visiting Patrick, 28, at the Kansas City Chiefs training camp, which began on Sunday, July 21, in St. Joseph, Missouri. While the family watches Patrick train from the sidelines, they “eat very light meals” and “want to play with dad all the time.”
He added that their son, Bronze, “was within an hour and a half of finding his father.” However, when they finally found him, “he didn't know what to do.” The video showed Patrick running off the field to greet his children.
According to Brittany, they were “happy kids” after a day of playing soccer and eating snowballs.
Chiefs practice will wrap up on Thursday, August 15, less than one month before the start of the 2024-2025 NFL season.
Earlier this month, Patrick and Brittany announced that they were expecting their third child and later revealed that they would be welcoming another girl. In a press conference at the training camp on July 16, the Chiefs defender confirmed that Baby No. 3 will be the last. “I'm done, I'm going to say that,” he told reporters. “I said three and I'm done.”
Patrick added that he feels lucky that he and Brittany, who are tying the knot in 2022, are young parents. “It's amazing. I always wanted to have small children,” he said. “I grew up in a locker room, and it had a big impact on my life. We are on our third child now. Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our lives.”
The NFL star once praised his wife as a “Hall of Fame mom” and wife, saying people “don't know how much she does for us and their family.
“I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and doing it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that,” he said. “When you come home and your best friend is there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time and it forces me to be great and do a lot of good things on its own.”
