Justin Timberlake Skips DWI Hearing As Trial Date Set

There was a hearing Justin Timberlake DWI charge on Friday, July 26.

Us Weekly can confirm that Timberlake, 43, was not in court today and did not appear as he is in Poland as part of his world tour. He is expected to appear on Friday, August 2, because he is charged with one count of DWI. He also respects the entire justice system including the District Attorney and the Judge who were in court today. But the truth is, he was not drunk and they made a mistake in arresting him because of that. We hope that this case will be withdrawn.”

The singer was arrested in the Hamptons on June 18. “On June 18, 2024, at 12:37 AM, Justin R. Timberlake, age 43, of Tennessee, was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a posted stop sign appropriately and failing to maintain his lane of travel,” the Sag Harbor Police Department said in a statement at the time. “The stop was initiated by an officer of the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was driving his vehicle while intoxicated.”

The statement continued: “Mr. Timberlake was arrested, processed and held overnight for arraignment in the morning. Mr. Timberlake appeared in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on June 18, 2024, at 9:30 AM where he was released on his own recognizance.”

Later that day, Timberlake was charged with DUI and released without bail.
